Hey, my name is Kyle. Welcome to Ferment Culture! Here’s a little bit about me:
I started tinkering with fermentation about 5 years ago. It all started with trying to make kombucha at home. I quickly fell in love with the creative possibilities and science behind the process. I moved on to Kefir (fermented milk), meads, apple cider vinegar, and a lot of vegetables.
As my wife and I continued this journey, we learned how important it was for each ingredient to have a story. Going to the farmer’s markets to scope out the highest-quality and freshest organic foods from local farms. It was important knowing that the produce was grown, cared for, and picked by people we could actually talk to. That became a vital piece of the puzzle.
The best part of the process was sharing my creations with friends and family. Knowing that it was not only tasty, interesting, and fun to eat, but also healthy. We’ve realized it’s important for us to take care of our health and the health of those around us. This realization, along with the support of many, has led us to create Ferment Culture.
Our goal is to use only thoughtful, organic, and high-quality ingredients to craft fermented foods that are truly healthy for you, your gut, and the environment. We want to connect with our local community and bring wellness to all those willing to try some funky ferments.
